Great to meet you!

I have over 25 years of experience and have worked in clinical, educational, and private settings. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Masters in Counseling. From a developmental lens, I treat anxiety, depression, adjustment, identity, relationship issues, and offer parent counseling. My clinical background includes training in attachment theory, trauma, neurodevelopment, IFS, as well as cognitive and psychosocial developmental stages. Currently, I work with young adults (17+) and adults.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and is influenced by person-centered, humanistic, attachment, and developmental theories. While CBT is a common modality, I look through the lens of the whole person as we focus on specific goals and move towards well-being. The therapeutic relationship we develop is the key to the process. I firmly believe that empathy, acceptance, and openness are fundamental to understanding the uniqueness of each person.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect me to be present, to listen, and to meet them where they are. We will clarify the direction and goals of the therapeutic process as we form an alliance. You will leave each session feeling heard, understood, and with specific actions to take.
