Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, and I have 15 years of experience in the mental health profession. I became a counselor because I believe in the power of the therapeutic alliance and in the ability of people to change, grow and heal.

My approach to therapy

My treatment approach is eclectic, and I work to meet client needs by utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and mindfulness based strategies which are well suited for working with anxiety and depression. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a structured therapy found effective in addressing trauma.

I am passionate about Equity and Inclusion and strive to offer counseling services that reflect these values.

What you can expect from me

I work to create a safe, affirming and non-judgmental counseling environment, and I believe that counseling should be custom fit to meet the individual needs of my clients. I feel counseling is a combination of the client's natural wisdom and my clinical leadership. Together these promote personal growth and healing.
