Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and am currently providing outpatient therapy virtually and in-person. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018, and my Masters in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2014. I have experience working with people of all ages and varied backgrounds. My professional background also involves working with children and families within the realm of research and child welfare.

My approach to therapy

My passion lies with helping clients believe that no matter their past, they are worthy of love and a positive future. I believe that shame can prevent us from moving forwards into a peace filled future that we deserve. I am trauma-informed and employ a variety of techniques to reduce symptoms while also providing a safe and judgement free space to process emotions.

What you can expect from me

I like to create an environment for my clients that fosters transparency, authenticity, HUMOR, kindness and healthy boundaries. I believe strongly that people are the experts of their own experiences and my only hope is that I am able to provide support and guidance along the way.
