Peggy Wallace

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I also have a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia where I completed a double major in Health Service Administration and Psychology. I have been licensed in the state of North Carolina since 2003 providing counseling in a variety of settings including outpatient, hospital, and school settings.

I specialize in working with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, divorce/separation (individual), parenting stress, and life transitions.

I have an holistic style of therapy that is tailored to my client's needs including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques, and Strength-based approach. I also incorporate yoga (I have completed 200 hour teacher training through Yoga Garden in Apex, NC), iRest (I am a Level I teacher with Integrative Restorative Yoga), and mindfulness to enhance client outcomes.
