Great to meet you!

Hey there! I'm so glad you're here. I'm Rachael, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for supporting women, young adults, teens, and parents who are navigating challenges such as trauma, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, perfectionism, and self-doubt (let's be real, who isn't struggling with these things these days?). I specialize in IFS-informed EMDR therapy, a powerful approach that helps you process trauma, reduce anxiety, and break free from patterns that hold you back. Whether you’re dealing with stress, relationship struggles, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to support you in finding clarity and healing.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered, holistic approach to therapy—combining EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and a deep dive into your attachment style and family of origin dynamics. It’s like figuring out why you do the things you do, but with less judgment and more compassion. My goal is to meet you exactly where you’re at—no pressure, no cookie-cutter solutions—just helping you tap into your own strengths so you can tackle life’s curveballs with a little more grace. Life’s tough, but with the right tools, you’ll face it head-on with resilience—and maybe even a little more humor and lightheartedness.

What you can expect from me

When we work together, you can expect to leave each session feeling a little lighter, a lot more self-aware, and with actual tools you can use to face whatever life throws your way. Whether it’s healing old wounds, managing anxiety, or just getting a better grip on your emotions, I’ll help you set practical goals that fit your unique needs. My sessions are all about creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can be your real, authentic self—awkward moments and all (I promise, I've heard it all!). You’ll walk away not just with insight and coping skills, but a sense of confidence and peace that sticks with you long after you leave the room.
