Great to meet you!

I am passionate about helping others to become more aware and empowered to change your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to obtain the quality of life you desire. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling in 1995 from Webster University. I grew up as a "Military Brat" and served in the United States Army for 10 years. I bring over 25 years of experience in Counseling working with Children, Adolescents, and Adults in various settings with various mental health illnesses.

My approach to therapy

I am down to earth, approachable and will challenge you to identify and make the changes necessary to move past where you are to where you want to be. I utilize faith as a foundation in the therapeutic process while employing some of the most widely recognized evidence based therapeutic treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be a time the client can express their thoughts and feelings to a therapist with an open mind. I will assist client in becoming empowered to get to where they want to be. I will encourage client to draw on their strengths and realize that they can do all things.
