Great to meet you!

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in North Carolina in Colorado. I have a BA in Psychology from Indiana University, and an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana State University.

My therapy practice experience is diverse and spans fifteen years. I enjoy working with people within the context of their relationships and my expertise is helping individuals, couples, and families find emotional clarity and a path to contentment.

My approach to therapy

I have extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness approaches. The goals of therapy are self-defined by the client, and the work in session is directed by the therapist using experiential techniques. The work happens in session (i.e. I don't use a lot of homework or psychoeducation unless you ask for it).

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a judgement-free space to explore their thoughts and feelings, to be challenged to consider alternative explanations, and to practice new responses.
