Great to meet you!

Tasha has always believed in the power of relationships as a source of healing and this belief stems from her own experiences and continues to inspire her work as a psychotherapist to form authentic and collaborative therapeutic relationships based on trust when working with clients. Leaning into secure relationships as a source of strength also influences Tasha’s use of attachment and systemic therapy within her work.

My approach to therapy

Tasha has a passion for working with young adults and couples during significant life transitions such as adjusting to college, pregnancy and perinatal mental health, and new parenthood experiences. She began her academic career by completing her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

What you can expect from me

Afterward, Tasha pursued her passion for mental health and wellness by completing her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and also attaining a graduate certificate in Systemic Multicultural Counseling from Appalachian State University. Tasha has training in Strengthening Families crisis response program. In addition, Tasha has developed a passion for perinatal mental health and working with individuals and couples during this significant identity and relational shift in their lives.
