Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and transitions. Over the past four years in private practice, I have focused on supporting adults experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, stress and major life changes. As a grief-informed professional with training in complicated grief and trauma-informed care, I help clients understand the impact of loss while honoring their unique path forward. I offer Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or “Tapping”), a somatic, mind–body approach that supports the nervous system in processing grief, stress and trauma. I believe healing happens when people feel seen, supported and empowered to take meaningful steps toward the life they want to live.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing involves caring for the whole person—mind, body, spirit. My approach is warm, collaborative and holistic, providing a safe space where you can share your story, process life's challenges and explore meaningful goals without fear of judgment. I draw from evidence-based practices while tailoring counseling to your unique needs, strengths and values. Together, we will work to increase self-awareness, build effective coping skills and create a path toward healing, growth, and greater fulfillment.

What you can expect from me

During our initial session, my goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story and the challenges that have brought you to counseling. Together, we will explore your concerns, identify your strengths and discuss what you hope to gain from our work together. We will begin developing goals that reflect your unique needs and values, then create small, meaningful steps toward positive change. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported and encouraged about the path ahead.
