Weatherford residents can access compassionate mental health care through Headway's network of 913 providers. Serving areas including Downtown, Lake View, and Pecan Valley, we offer flexible sessions covered by insurance with copays as low as $0 for many patients.
As a special needs dad, a former Spanish teacher, former school counselor (MEdSC), and nurse (MSN), I bring a broad range of experiences to my clients. As a nurse, I have worked PACU, ER, and geriatrics. My goal is to work with the client to reach their goals through the use of counseling, supplements, and medication as needed. I enjoy using belief systems as part of my counseling if desired.
Like many providers, I have worked with many clients with depression, mania, and anxiety. As a previous teacher/school counselor, I understand the impact of ADHD on the student, the classroom, the teacher, and the family.
I think it is important for prospective clients to know that I want to help both now and in the future. For this reason, there are drugs that I don't prescribe (stimulants and benzos) because of the long-lasting side effects.
My hobbies include playing the piano, singing, gardening and family.
Hello! I’m Clifford Echabu, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive mental health care. I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported on their healing journey. My approach is collaborative and holistic—combining evidence-based treatment with open, judgment-free communication.
I have experience working in inpatient psychiatric care and community mental health settings, treating individuals facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD/trauma-related concerns, ADHD, and substance-use challenges. I also focus on promoting emotional wellness, building coping skills, and empowering clients to take an active role in their care.
Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis or seeking ongoing support, I strive to create a safe environment where you can be your authentic self and work toward stability, resilience, and renewed hope. Together, we will build a personalized treatment plan that fits your life and your goals.
Hi there! I'm glad you found your way here.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just plain exhausted, you are not alone. A lot of the
people I work with describe a similar experience: on the surface, life looks manageable, but
internally, it is a different story. Thoughts that won't quiet down, energy that's hard to find, or
stress from past experiences that never quite resolved themselves.
You don't have to keep carrying that on your own.
I work with patients navigating a wide range of mental challenges, from anxiety, ADHD,
depression, and mood disorders to trauma, life transitions, burnout, and beyond. My goal is
straightforward: to help you feel more like yourself again, and more in control of your day-to-day life.
Welcome,
I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support takes courage, and you don’t have to navigate this alone. I am Eziaha Ihediwah a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and I specialize in working with individuals dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and eating disorder, this is a space where you will be heard, respected, and taken seriously. Your experiences matter, and your care will be tailored to you—not a one-size-fits-all plan.
Your role in this process Healing is a partnership. You’ll always have space to ask questions, express concerns, and be involved in decisions about your care. Progress may take time, but we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
If you ever feel overwhelmed between visits, please reach out. Support is available, and you deserve consistent care.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you toward stability, clarity, and improved quality of life.
Healing isn't linear and I understand that deeply, both professionally and personally. As a dual -certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and an attorney, I bring a unique, comprehensive perspective to care. But more than titles, I bring lived experience.
I know grief intimately. The pain I carried afterwards was unexplainable. It didn't fit into a neat diagnosis or timeline. That experience shaped not only how I show up for others but why I do my work.
Whether you are navigating the aftermath of a death, a medical diagnosis, a relationship rupture, or job loss, I offer a safe, grounded and trauma focused space. I help clients process complex emotions, rebuild self-trust, and gently move toward healing, at your own pace.
If you're carrying something heavy, you don't have to carry it alone. I'd be honored to walk with you.
