Hello, want to work together on a path to Clarity in 2026? I provide ADHD Support in North Carolina

I provide support to NC residents through telehealth or in-person visits at our Pittsboro office in the Chatham Wellness Collective. (south of Chapel Hill)

A Streamlined Approach to ADHD Care. Navigating the ADHD assessment and treatment process can be frustrating and expensive. Many individuals face delays, expensive testing fees, and additional requirements, such as a psychological evaluation and/or a doctor’s note or EKG, just to receive care. Others are seen by telehealth only providers who can't prescribe stimulants and who tell you one has to start off on Wellbutrin or Strattera (non stimulants). That is terrible care. At our clinic, we prioritize efficiency and accessibility.

We believe in low doses of medication and finding your perfect dose to balance attention with mood. Most of our ADHD patients are on low dosing.

My approach to treatment is collaborative, forward-thinking, and tailored to your unique needs. I strive to create a warm, inviting atmosphere where you can feel comfortable discussing your challenges.

State Employees- Headway is part of a program that makes most visit have only a $10 copay.

Find the right psychiatrist for you

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Cornelius

Finding the right psychiatrist in Cornelius, NC starts with understanding what kind of care you need. Psychiatrists are medical doctors who can diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medication, and in some cases provide talk therapy. Psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) can also prescribe and manage medication and are another option to consider. If you're looking for help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or medication management, a psychiatric provider may be the right fit.

Cornelius is a smaller community within the Lake Norman area, so your search may also include providers in Huntersville, Davidson, Mooresville, or Charlotte. Consider what matters most to you — whether that's a provider who specializes in a specific condition, offers virtual appointments, or practices close to home. Reading a provider's bio can help you understand their approach and decide if they're a good match before you book.

Psychiatry sessions can be expensive without insurance coverage. Using your in-network benefits is one of the most reliable ways to lower your out-of-pocket costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs upfront, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a psychiatrist who is both the right clinical fit and covered by your plan.
