ADHD affects focus, organization, and time management in different ways for everyone. Delaware patients can access virtual and in-person sessions with providers specializing in attention challenges, helping you develop productivity strategies and emotional regulation skills tailored to your needs.
I believe that healing happens best in a space that feels both professional and human. With over a decade of experience supporting vulnerable children, families, and adults, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people navigate their most challenging seasons—specializing in substance use recovery and child and adolescent mental health.
My background is rooted in a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware and an MSW from West Chester University. While my training prepared me to navigate complex medical and educational systems like school IEP/504 meetings, disciplinary boards, hospital teams, and the foster care system, my real-world experience has taught me that every individual and family needs a unique, compassionate approach.
I’m a firm believer that the world needs more laughter, and that therapy doesn't always have to feel heavy. When I’m not in the office, I’m usually painting or glued to a good book. I believe that therapy, much like art, is a process of creation and discovery, and I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
Susan White specializes in individual therapy and has 10+ years of experience. Her areas of expertise are trauma, parenting, multicultural concerns, PTSD, LGBTQ challenges, and adjustment. She sees life as a journey and not a destination. You are one step closer to a new you, feeling empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. Her goal is to help you.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and hope to create a space where our most authentic selves feel seen, heard, and thrive. I bring warmth, understanding, and occasional humor to sessions. With years of experience working with folks navigating trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, I meet each person where they are in their journey.
I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Delaware and Iowa. I earned my doctorate (Psy.D., Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology) from the Fuller School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary in California.
I have over 10 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations in the East Coast, Midwest, and Los Angeles area in a variety of settings, such as outpatient behavioral agencies, a psychiatric hospital focusing on chemical dependency, a university counseling center, and a school district. I also received a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Hong Kong.
I provide psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families dealing with a wide variety of concerns. My clinical interests include anxiety and mood disorders, trauma recovery, grief and loss, family of origin issues, ADHD, relational distress, perfectionism, cross-cultural adjustments, and spirituality. I was trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2021 and my specialty area is to help individuals with complex childhood traumas and PTSD using attachment-informed EMDR interventions.
