My name is Latarsia Renee Williams, but feel free to call me Tarsia (pronounced like Tasha). I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Alabama, and I have been working with clients since 2016. My professional background includes supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups across a range of settings such as youth programs, detention facilities, group therapy environments, and private practice. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 and became fully licensed in 2024.

Hello! I work with adult clients, ages 18-64 years old, who have medication management needs for their mental health conditions. Clients should have appropriate acuity in the mild-to-moderate range for telehealth care. Certain conditions or symptom severity levels may need a more intensive care setting than telehealth. I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner based in Tallahassee, Florida, where I was born and raised. I have a BA in Finance and a BSN from Florida State University as well as an MSN from Wilkes University as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After completing my baccalaureate nursing education at Florida State University, I was drawn to major medical centers, which led me to North Carolina—a place I had come to love during my summers there. In my professional journey, I had the privilege of working at both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University Medical Center, gaining invaluable experience in high-level evidenced based patient care. Now, back in my hometown, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care to my community.
