I have been an RN for 18 years. I have been a Nurse Practitioner for over 4 years. I went to Grand Canyon University for my FNP program and Wilkes University for my PMHNP program.

I am trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, EFT, Gottmans and much more as well as being a client centered, trauma informed LCSW who makes my clients a priority. I treat many issues but specialize in trauma, grief, comorbidities, end of life, identity challenges, anxiety, depression and helping you thrive regardless!

I am from Lockport, Illinois and have lived in Phoenix AZ for over 25 years. I received my undergrad at Governor's state University and grad degree from Capella university. My specialty is Trauma, but I also work with many other problems. I work with children ages 10 to 18.

I primarily work with women who are feeling emotionally drained, stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, or who no longer recognize who they used to be. Many women I work with grew up learning to prioritize others’ needs, manage everyone else’s emotions, and silence their own. Over time, this can lead to relationships that are never quite fulfilling and create a constant sense of self-doubt or exhaustion. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona and hold a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling. My professional journey as a counselor has allowed me to sit with various individuals. Kelly Maurer is Double Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health NP as well as Family Medicine with a Special Interest in Addiction Medicine. She sees 12 -75 yrs of age with > 35 years of medical experience; she diagnoses & provides medication management, and talk therapy appointments. In unison or separately.

She is gifted with developing an easy rapport with her patients which allows for healing & Hope to happen.

She completed her Graduate Degree at Arizona State University as a FNP in 2006, & obtained her Psychiatric Mental Health post master’s at Rocky Mountain University. She has 37 plus years of medical experience and therefore has a gift to see the bigger picture and connecting with her patients.
