For over 33 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside children, families, and individuals through some of life's most difficult moments — and I'd be honored to walk alongside you, too.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri and a Licensed Specialized Clinical Social Worker in Kansas, I bring deep experience and genuine compassion to every client I work with. Whether you're navigating family challenges, processing trauma, struggling with depression or low self-esteem, or trying to find your footing after a major life change, you don't have to face it alone.
My background spans a wide range of life experiences. I've supported families touched by the child welfare system — including trauma, adoption, and guardianship — and I understand how complex and emotionally layered those journeys can be. I've also worked with individuals and families dealing with anger, domestic violence, and the weight of everyday stressors that can feel overwhelming without the right support.
One area especially close to my heart is working with older adults and their families as they navigate the aging process, health challenges, and end-of-life transitions. My approach is rooted in warmth, encouragement, and meeting you exactly where you are. Wherever you are on your journey, I'm here to help.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Missouri starts with getting clear on what you're looking for. Common reasons people seek therapy include anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, and life transitions. Missouri is home to a wide range of licensed providers — including Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), psychologists, and psychiatrists — each with different training and areas of focus. Reading a provider's bio can help you understand their approach and decide if they're a good match.
Practical factors matter, too. Consider whether you prefer in-person sessions near you or virtual visits from home, and look for a provider whose availability fits your schedule. If you're in a larger metro area like Kansas City or St. Louis, you'll likely have more options for both in-person and virtual care. In more rural parts of the state, virtual sessions can connect you with providers you might not otherwise be able to see.
Therapy in Missouri can vary in cost, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to lower what you pay per session. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs upfront, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a provider who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
