During his graduate training at University of Arizona, he developed and refined his skills and expertise in the mental health space. I am a trauma-informed psychiatric nurse practitioner with training from Columbia University and Frontier Nursing University. My background includes psychiatric nursing across all levels of care, as well as six years in community health serving underserved and marginalized populations. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and have extensive experience treating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and eating disorders, along with psychotic disorders, substance use concerns, and personality-related challenges. My training allows me to integrate medical knowledge, functional and nutritional psychiatry, community services, and psychotherapy to provide comprehensive, personalized care.

I’m a board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare and more than a decade as a nurse practitioner. My work blends evidence-based medication management with an integrative, trauma-informed lens. I believe effective care looks beyond symptoms to understand the person as a whole.

My background includes neurology, trauma, and public health nursing. I earned my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from University of Colorado after I realized the need for psychiatric providers in my rural community of Meeker, Colorado and surrounding areas. By furthering my education, I am able to provide specialized, thoughtful, empathetic psychiatric care.

I am a lover of many things, but there is nothing dearer and nearer to my heart than the clients I help. I have been a nurse for 18 years now. Almost 100% of those years, I have spent working in or around mental health. Not to mention, I grew up in a family where mental illness directly impacted my family members.
