I graduated from The Ohio State University with my DNP in 2020 focusing on efficient pathways to implement depression screening post-stroke to identify mental health needs. After working a couple years as a nurse practitioner within neurosurgery, I transitioned from Ohio to Florida and pursued my PMHNP certification from Florida State University. Over the past 5 years I have been treating psychiatric needs in LTC around Florida. I am currently working to expand into independent practice and work personally with individuals creating a therapeutic relationship and enhancing their mental health.

My journey has taken me from earning my BSN at Barry University to my MSN and FNP at the University of Miami, a Post-Master's as a Psych NP from the University of Alabama, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from FIU. This is a telehealth practice. As a personal choice, the use of narcotics or other controlled (DEA) meds are minimal, if any. I've been a psych nurse practitioner for at least 14yrs. I believe in managing conditions with psychiatric and non-psychiatric treatment modalities that are evidence based. The use of the least amount of meds, at lower doses that does the healing of symptoms, is an active process involving the client and based on the reported experiences. Safety is the core of my practice and my job is to help clients understand internal signals and how to prevent another crisis.
