I am a Doctorally prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families through some of life's most demanding chapters — serious illness, end-of-life care, caregiving, grief, and the particular kind of burnout that comes from loving someone with complex needs. My hospice and palliative care background has shaped the way I work: with deep respect for what people are carrying, and a focus on dignity, whole-person care, and what actually helps in real life.

I am also a parent of a child with Down syndrome. I know what it means to receive a diagnosis that reshapes your family's future. I've navigated IEP meetings, medical appointments, the emotional complexity of caregiving, and the way people who love you still don't quite understand. My name is Dr. Perpetua Ezeh-Aideyan, a Board-Certified Psychiatrist, and I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck. Some have tried therapy or medication before; others are reaching out for the first time. What they truly want is to feel like themselves again—to find peace, clarity, and stability. I’m here to offer compassionate, professional support and to walk alongside them on their path to healing and growth.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and complex mental health needs.

I have experience working across high-acuity hospital settings, partial hospitalization programs, and community-based care, which allows me to support individuals through both everyday challenges and more complex clinical situations. My goal is to create a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected.

I am a kind, open-minded person who genuinely values listening and understanding others. I believe that some of the most meaningful connections begin with simply feeling heard. I have an extensive background and passion for psychology, and I am endlessly fascinated by the brain, the mind, and how deeply connected they are to our emotions, behaviors, and overall well-being.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my cats, and traveling whenever I get the opportunity. I naturally enjoy helping others navigate life’s challenges, whether that involves problem-solving, relationships, emotional struggles, or finding new perspectives during difficult times. Helping people better understand themselves and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives is something that brings me genuine purpose.

I also hold a special passion for supporting our military, veterans, and first responders. Being married to one has given me a deeper appreciation and understanding of the sacrifices made by these individuals and their families. I believe the men and women who have served and protected our country are among our nation’s greatest assets, and I feel deeply committed to helping support their mental health, resilience, and quality of life as they continue carrying burdens many others may never fully understand.
