With over a decade of dedicated experience in the field of substance use disorders (SUD), I have spent the majority of my career specializing in co-occurring mental health and addiction treatment. I am a dual-licensed professional in the state of New Jersey, holding credentials as both a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT). This unique background allows me to provide comprehensive, integrated care that addresses the complex intersection of substance use and relational or systemic mental health challenges.
Hello there! My name is Anjelica and I look forward to learning more about you! I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience in the field. I received my BA in Psychology from Penn State and my MSW from Walden University. The majority of my experience as a young social worker came from a large community mental health agency in Ocean County, NJ. I spent a lot of time with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, major depression, trauma, ext). One of my favorite populations to work with are the homeless. I spent years working for PATH in the community and found this work exceptionally rewarding. I also worked for a time with local police departments as the department social worker. Another population I enjoy working with is teens. My graduate internship was at a shelter for children and adolescents aged 10-19 who were homelessness or waiting for foster placement. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and seniors in an outpatient therapeutic setting.

Your mind and body are speaking—are you listening? As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in high-stakes intensive care, I understand what many overlook: mental and physical health are inseparable.
In critical care, I saw how stress, trauma, and anxiety manifest in the body—tight chests, sleepless nights, unexplained pain. And when the pandemic hit, I witnessed the silent emotional suffering of patients, families, and healthcare workers alike. That moment changed everything.
I chose psychiatry because healing your mind is just as vital as healing your body. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or like no one sees what you’re carrying—you don’t have to hold it alone. I’m here to help you reconnect, restore, and rise.
Let’s work together to make your mental wellness a priority. Click below to book your first step toward clarity, calm, and confidence.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and completed specialized training in psychiatry.
I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, thought disorders, PTSD, OCD, and substance use disorders. My background includes working in both inpatient, outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings, giving me a well-rounded understanding of medication management, symptom stabilization, and long-term recovery.
I believe in treating the whole person — not just symptoms — and I’m committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported
I am a board -certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a passion for helping individuals achieve mental wellness through personalized, evidence-based care. I earned my Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry and have several years of experience working with diverse populations in both in person and tele-psychiatry settings. My clinical focus includes mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related conditions and life traditions. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard and empowered.
I bring both professional expertise and genuine empathy to my work. Having navigated my own experiences with immigration, career changes and motherhood, I understand how destabilizing major life transitions can be. Those experiences shape how I show up for patients. I believe people do best when they feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My approach is integrative and individualized, grounded in evidence based care while also guided by curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story and capacity for growth.
My focus is on psychiatric medication management, including diagnosis and ongoing care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and related concerns. I do not provide weekly or primary psychotherapy, and may not be the best fit if you are seeking therapy-only services. If you are looking for ongoing talk therapy, I encourage you to select a licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) whose profile and approach best meet your needs.
Notice for New Jersey Clients: Due to current New Jersey law, stimulant medications cannot be prescribed without an in-person assessment. Because my practice is exclusively online, I am unable to prescribe these medications. I am, however, happy to help you explore non-controlled medication options for ADHD and other supportive strategies.
Please also note: I do not offer medical marijuana evaluations or cards.
