Seeking help can feel like a big step, especially if you've been managing on your own for a long time. I'm a board-certified psychiatrist offering telehealth medication management for adults across Virginia and Pennsylvania — with evening and weekend appointments, so care fits into your life instead of competing with it.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar and mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, personality disorders including BPD, chronic suicidal ideation, and burnout. Many of my patients are high-functioning professionals who appear fine on the outside but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or not like themselves. I have a special focus on women's mental health, including PMDD, postpartum depression and anxiety, and mood changes through perimenopause.
My approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and practical. I provide medication management within a broader therapeutic framework, drawing on CBT and supportive therapy — our sessions go beyond symptom checks. Care begins with a thorough evaluation, followed by treatment tailored to you, coping skills, and close follow-up. You'll always understand the why behind your treatment; medication is one tool, never the whole plan.
I also welcome patients who prefer care in Urdu, Punjabi, or Hindi. If you're ready, I'd be glad to help you take the next step.
I am a CRNP, fully trained to care for your Mental Health needs. I worked as a Psych Nurse for Nine years. I am a Wilkes University Alumni.
Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet we often neglect it due to stigma or the fear of being perceived as "crazy." I am here to guide you through the challenges you face in life, providing support during both the ups and downs. Together, we can develop a personalized treatment plan that supports your mental and emotional well-being.
Do you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, extreme mood changes, or issues with focus? Are you plagued by addictions? Is this all affecting your work, physical health, and relationships?

I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Mindful Balance & Wellness. I provide evidence-based psychiatric care while incorporating an integrative approach that considers the connection between mental health, lifestyle, and overall well-being.
I work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and mood-related concerns. I’m particularly interested in how factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition, and hormonal changes can impact mental health, and I continue to expand my training in integrative and functional psychiatry to better support my patients.
I take time to listen and understand your full story, not just your symptoms. My goal is to create a personalized plan that helps you feel better, function better, and regain a sense of balance in your life.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING, thank you.
I am a board-certified Psychiatrist (medical doctor) providing virtual care throughout NY and PA. I taper medications. This means most of my patients want to safely reduce or ultimately stop taking psychiatric medications, and I guide them through that process safely and at their own pace. I include therapy in my 30-min follow up sessions, though do not offer weekly 1-hour therapy sessions. Many of my patients also work with a therapist.
Hi, I’m a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from Drexel University with my Master's degree in Nursing. I then completed my Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have over twenty years of experience working in healthcare. Psych has always been my passion. My experiences encompass working with clients across the life span, including Child and Adolescents, Adult, and Geriatric patient populations. I’ve provided services to clients presenting with many psychiatric disorders, such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and more. I’m in the belief that mental health wellbeing is a priority. Human beings are resilient. Holistic care is the key to promoting better patient outcomes. Therefore, I believe that with an evidence-based practice treatment plan consisting of psychotherapy and/or a combination of psychotherapy and medication management, one will be able to control their mental health.
I’m a very compassionate, caring, and empathetic person. I strive to provide holistic care and collaborate with my clients to develop a treatment plan that they are comfortable with.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding psychiatrists in York starts with knowing what type of mental health care fits your needs. Psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners can diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe medication, while therapists focus on talk therapy and support. Medication management may be part of care for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or OCD. Some people start with a therapist, some start with a prescriber, and some work with both, depending on what they need.
In a smaller city like York, local psychiatry options may be more limited than in larger Pennsylvania markets. Virtual appointments can give you more choices while still letting you stay close to your schedule, and in-person care may be a better fit if you prefer an office setting. As you compare psychiatrists, look at appointment availability, whether they offer medication management, and whether they also provide therapy. Reading bios can help you understand each psychiatrist’s focus, communication style, and experience with York behavioral health needs before you book.
Psychiatric care in York can be a significant expense without insurance, and using in-network coverage is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs. Headway makes it easier to find psychiatrists who accept your plan, are accepting new patients, and offer clear cost estimates before your first session. You can compare virtual and in-person options, review psychiatrist profiles, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're already taking psychiatric medication and considering switching providers, talk to your current prescriber before changing or stopping any medication — most psychiatric medications shouldn't be stopped abruptly. Anyone experiencing thoughts of self-harm or in acute crisis should call 988 or go to the nearest emergency department rather than wait for an outpatient appointment.
