I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, and life stressors. My approach is collaborative and personalized, taking time to understand the whole person, not just their symptoms. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, whether that includes medication management, education, or supportive therapy. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting progress.

I work with adolescents age 13 and up, as well as adults, and I enjoy helping people make sense of what they are going through in a way that feels supportive and practical. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, stress, or just feeling unlike yourself, my goal is to create a space where you can speak openly and feel comfortable being honest about what is really going on.
I see mental health care as a partnership. You are the expert on your experience, and I bring clinical knowledge to help guide the process. Together, we work toward a plan that feels realistic, thoughtful, and aligned with your goals.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right psychiatrist in Spokane starts with understanding what kind of mental health care you need. Psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners can diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medication, and manage medication over time. Therapists provide talk therapy and may support many of the same concerns through counseling. If you are looking for care related to anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorder, review each psychiatrist’s listed specialties, training, and approach to see how they match your needs.
In a mid-sized market like Spokane, the right fit may depend on both clinical focus and practical details. You may prefer an office near Downtown, South Hill, Spokane Valley, or Browne’s Addition, while virtual appointments can add more options if location or scheduling is a factor. Psychiatric appointments for medication management are often shorter and less frequent than therapy sessions. Some psychiatrists also offer therapy, and some people work with both a therapist and a prescriber. Before booking, read bios for details on appointment style, availability, session structure, and whether a free phone consultation is offered.
Psychiatric care in Spokane can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before an appointment. Headway helps you find psychiatrists who are accepting new patients with your plan, see estimated out-of-pocket costs upfront, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're already taking psychiatric medication and considering switching providers, talk to your current prescriber before changing or stopping any medication — most psychiatric medications shouldn't be stopped abruptly. Anyone experiencing thoughts of self-harm or in acute crisis should call 988 or go to the nearest emergency department rather than wait for an outpatient appointment.
