I’m Beverly Regisford-Henry, Psy.D., M.S.Ed., LCSW, CAGCS, a licensed psychotherapist in both Florida and New York. I specialize in working with children, teens, young adults, and the families who support them.

I approach therapy with the understanding that children do not heal in isolation. With over 12 years of experience as a therapist and more than 20 years as an educator, I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise, educational insight, and genuine compassion to my work.

I have walked school hallways, partnered closely with parents, and supported families navigating real-life challenges. I understand the quieter struggles young people often carry—and I am deeply committed to helping them feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I chose to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner because I am passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health and overall quality of life. My hospice and palliative care background has shaped the way I work: with deep respect for what people are carrying, and a focus on dignity, whole-person care, and what actually helps in real life.

I am also a parent of a child with Down syndrome. I know what it means to receive a diagnosis that reshapes your family's future. I've navigated IEP meetings, medical appointments, the emotional complexity of caregiving, and the way people who love you still don't quite understand.
