Welcome to A Heart to Heal Therapeutics LLC! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Vee Monie, and I’m a dedicated mental health therapist with over a decade of experience in the field of social work and clinical care.
My journey began in 2014 working in residential treatment facilities with adolescent girls, where I created and facilitated life skills curricula focused on emotional regulation, self-worth, and healthy decision-making. Since then, I’ve provided therapy in a range of settings—including school-based mental health programs throughout Dayton, OH—supporting children, adolescents, and families with compassion and clinical expertise.
I am the founder and owner of A Heart to Heal Therapeutics LLC, a private practice offering high-quality therapeutic services to adults across Ohio through both telehealth and in-person sessions.
For clients seeking faith-based support, I also provide Christian Counseling, integrating biblical principles into therapy to support spiritual and emotional healing. This approach acknowledges the importance of aligning emotional wellness with spiritual truth, offering space to reconnect with God’s purpose and peace.
This is a space for transformation, healing, and self-discovery—and I am honored to walk beside you on your journey toward becoming the best version of yourself.
I am a licensed independent social worker (LISW) with 26 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, family conflict, and healing from toxic or abusive relationships. I also have extensive experience providing counseling, crisis support, case management, and diagnostic assessment, including work within school-based settings. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and focused on meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from Cleveland State University.
As an Independent Clinical Social Worker, I believe prioritizing your mental health is the key to finding your joy. I have been in practice for 11 years focusing on individuals navigating the impact of anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, working with couples, and parent mentoring.
I help adolescents, adults, couples, and families move beyond patterns that keep them stuck. Using EMDR, CBT, and DBT, I focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating lasting change. I approach therapy with a clear understanding of how past experiences can shape current patterns, while helping clients build practical tools to improve daily functioning. My background in crisis work allows me to provide steady, effective support even in high-stress situations.
Clients often describe me as calm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy works best when people feel heard without judgment and supported in making meaningful, lasting changes. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in helping clients develop healthier patterns, stronger relationships, and greater resilience in everyday life.
My name is Queen Watson (yes that's my real name) and I’m a Cincinnati, OH native. I attended The Ohio State University for my bachelor's degree in psychology and obtained my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. As a Black therapist, I take pride in providing a safe space for individuals to address the impact of a system that villainizes those experiencing side effects of the human condition and directly challenge the stereotype of what therapists should look or act like. My ideal clients are adults experiencing or seeking: identify affirming care (i.e., LGBT+, BIPOC), ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, seeking stronger intra- and interpersonal relationships, intense anger, and mood disorders.
Tonya Watts believes people are unique and complex beings; thus, the approaches taken with you are based on the information you provide. Cognitive behavioral therapy and a biopsychosocial approach of mind, body, and spirit in working with the whole individual are the basic theoretical foundations of Tonya’s work. She offers tools to assist you in gaining the ability to thrive!
I have a bachelor's of Arts Degree, double majoring in Social Services and Religious Studies, a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology and the degree of Master of Social Work, from Cleveland State University.
I believe in a holistic approach to mental health. This means that all aspects of a person are included and considered in our work together. I assist those I work with in a variety of areas including, but not limited to:
Anxiety
Stress management
Depression
Grief and loss
Life transitions (including becoming an empty nester, divorce, retirement, aging with meaning)
Management of health issues (particularly pain and chronic health challenges)
Trauma (including religious trauma, sexual abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder)
