My training includes a general psychiatry residency in New Jersey and an advanced Addiction Psychiatry/NIDA‐T32 Research Fellowship at Columbia University in New York City, where I received specialized experience in the treatment of substance use disorders, comorbidity, and academic research.

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults on their mental health journeys.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I believe that understanding yourself is the foundation of healing, and I focus on giving my clients practical tools, education, and guidance they can use every day—not just during sessions.

Hi, my name is Gabriela. I’m a NYU trained Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with people navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationship stress, career uncertainty, and family or social challenges. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and not judged. I also have a special interest in women’s mental health, including PMDD and perinatal mental health, as well as working with LGBTQ+ individuals and people from marginalized communities. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, and spending time with my family.

I received my training at Columbia University's renowned School of Nursing and graduated with a doctorate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I have specialized training in understanding trauma based disorders, mood disorders, and a particular interest in the intersection between mental and physical health.

I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and I offer psychiatric services through Telehealth, allowing clients to attend appointments from the comfort and privacy of their own space.
