Hi there! I'm glad you found your way here.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just plain exhausted, you are not alone. A lot of the
people I work with describe a similar experience: on the surface, life looks manageable, but
internally, it is a different story. Thoughts that won't quiet down, energy that's hard to find, or
stress from past experiences that never quite resolved themselves.
You don't have to keep carrying that on your own.
I work with patients navigating a wide range of mental challenges, from anxiety, ADHD,
depression, and mood disorders to trauma, life transitions, burnout, and beyond. My goal is
straightforward: to help you feel more like yourself again, and more in control of your day-to-day life.
I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Educator with more than 22 years of experience in nursing—including end-of-life care, wellness, and mental health.
My approach is holistic and person-centered. I believe healing happens when we care for the body, mind, and soul together. Whether that includes faith-based principles, mindfulness, or evidence-based clinical care, I meet each client where they are and support their unique path to healing.
While my practice is Christ-centered in philosophy, it is open and inclusive to people of all backgrounds and beliefs. My focus is on helping each individual find peace, clarity, and wholeness by addressing the deeper roots of emotional and physical distress.
I see my role as a partner in your journey—helping you reconnect with yourself, understand your needs, and move toward a healthier, more balanced life from the inside out.
Welcome,
I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support takes courage, and you don’t have to navigate this alone. I am Eziaha Ihediwah a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and I specialize in working with individuals dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and eating disorder, this is a space where you will be heard, respected, and taken seriously. Your experiences matter, and your care will be tailored to you—not a one-size-fits-all plan.
Your role in this process Healing is a partnership. You’ll always have space to ask questions, express concerns, and be involved in decisions about your care. Progress may take time, but we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
If you ever feel overwhelmed between visits, please reach out. Support is available, and you deserve consistent care.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you toward stability, clarity, and improved quality of life.
I believe mental health care works best when it feels like a partnership. I take time to listen, understand your experiences, and involve you in every step of your treatment plan. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, heard, and supported while we work together to find the right tools and strategies to help you feel more stable, confident, and hopeful about the future.
Healing isn't linear and I understand that deeply, both professionally and personally. As a dual -certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and an attorney, I bring a unique, comprehensive perspective to care. But more than titles, I bring lived experience.
I know grief intimately. The pain I carried afterwards was unexplainable. It didn't fit into a neat diagnosis or timeline. That experience shaped not only how I show up for others but why I do my work.
Whether you are navigating the aftermath of a death, a medical diagnosis, a relationship rupture, or job loss, I offer a safe, grounded and trauma focused space. I help clients process complex emotions, rebuild self-trust, and gently move toward healing, at your own pace.
If you're carrying something heavy, you don't have to carry it alone. I'd be honored to walk with you.
I am Stanley Okeyemi, the founder of Brighter Light Behavioral Health Services. I am currently licensed as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) in Texas, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Washington, North Carolina, Nebraska, Virginia and New York. I have been working in the mental health industry for 16 years, but licensed as a PMHNP for four years, with a vast amount of experience and affiliations with over 40 hospitals/clinics combined across the USA

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right psychiatrist in Missouri City starts with understanding the type of care you need. Psychiatrists are medical doctors who specialize in diagnosing and managing mental health conditions. They can prescribe medication and adjust it over time based on how you respond. Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) also prescribe and manage medication and are widely available in the Missouri City and Fort Bend County area. If you're looking for help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or another condition that may benefit from medication, a psychiatric provider may be the right fit.
Missouri City residents have access to providers offering both in-person and virtual sessions. Virtual psychiatry appointments can be a good option if you have a busy schedule or prefer to meet from home. When choosing a provider, consider their experience with your specific concerns, whether they offer the session format you prefer, and how their approach is described in their bio. A free phone consultation can also help you decide if a provider is the right match before you commit to a session.
Psychiatry sessions can be costly without insurance coverage. Using your in-network benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce what you pay out of pocket. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see an estimated session cost before booking. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and your out-of-pocket expense may be as low as $0 per session, though costs vary based on your location and specific coverage.
