I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider and see people for anxiety and panic disorders and OCD. I also see people for many other types of mental health concerns including ADHD, family concerns, chronic illness, trauma, and grief and loss. Deeply rooted relationship habits and expectations can take a heavy toll. You may feel pressure to fix everyone else’s problems or live in a state of hyper-vigilance—always waiting for the other shoe to drop—which makes it hard to quiet a harsh inner critic. Or you may know the love is there, but recurring cycles of conflict are leaving you feeling isolated and lonely.
When codependency, conflict, anxiety, or wounded trust take over a relationship, it can be easy to feel as though you are the problem. In this practice, we start from a different truth: the person is not the problem; the problem is the problem.
I established my practice, Pinehurst Relationships, to provide clients a Narrative Therapy approach to explore the stories shaping your life. We will collaborate to apply curiosity to problems and actively look for the unique outcomes—those moments of strength or values the problem tries to hide. Clients may notice a gradual shift out of reactive patterns toward a preferred narrative for your life.
My practice is also informed by Internal Family Systems and Mindful Self-Compassion through a trauma-informed lens. My areas of specialization are codependency, relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma and stressor-related disorders, and climate-aware therapy (climate grief)
I serve individuals, couples, and families.
My professional background: I attended Antioch University Seattle where I earned my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2022. I was an intern at a community mental health agency in Edmonds, WA and an associate at a group practice in Seattle. I earned my BA in International Studies from the University of Washington in 1985. My early career was in journalism.

I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adolescents, adults, and older adults. My practice integrates thoughtful medication management with supportive psychotherapy, lifestyle strategies, and collaborative care to help you feel heard, informed, and empowered in your treatment.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work, and I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My approach is practical, supportive, and focused on helping you create meaningful change in your life.
I believe that success looks different for everyone. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be—whether that’s improving your mental health, navigating life transitions, or building healthier patterns and relationships. Together, we’ll identify what’s working, what’s not, and develop tools that help you feel more confident and in control.
I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported while also being gently challenged to grow in ways that align with your goals
A big passion of mine is supporting moms through all stages of motherhood. Whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, adjusting to life as a new mom, balancing work and family, feeling overwhelmed, or trying to find yourself again outside of motherhood — you don’t have to figure it all out alone. Motherhood can be beautiful and exhausting all at once, and I love creating a space where moms can feel supported, understood, and able to show up for themselves too.
