Hi, I'm Magda. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree from Antioch University Los Angeles. I'm a culturally sensitive Latina therapist who is passionate about helping people better understand themselves and the challenges they're facing. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or feeling stuck in life, we'll work together to uncover patterns, build insight, and strengthen your confidence. I believe meaningful change can happen when you feel truly seen and understood.
When working with clients, I strive to make the therapy experience respectful and genuine. Everyone's journey to personal resilience is unique and there is no one size fits all solution. My approach is flexible and client centered. I often explore childhood attachment issues which can assist the client in achieving sustained emotional growth.
Hi there! My name is Jessica Parmar and I am a therapist who works with adults and teens. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a teacher, which continues to shape how I connect, support, and engage with clients. I’m warm, approachable, and genuine, and I care deeply about the work we do together. I’ll meet you at your pace, but I’m not afraid to challenge you when it supports your growth.
I love mental health. I love listening to people and diving into the challenges my clients face on a daily basis. I am humbled with the invitation to join your journey, and help you learn how to help yourself. We all have the tools to undertake the obstacles that we encounter; sometimes we need someone to help us take a step back to find a different perspective. I appreciate the bravery and courage that it takes for each of my clients to let me into their lives and become vulnerable with me.
I work with adults and teens navigating trauma, burnout, identity, and the particular exhaustion of being a sensitive person in a fast-changing world. My work goes beyond talk therapy to build a flexible nervous system, helping to regulate it, reduce symptoms of trauma, and build resilience.
Many of the people I work with are doing everything right on paper. They are the ones who keep showing up, holding it together, being the person everyone else leans on. And they are exhausted in a way that is hard to explain to the people around them. They worry they are making the wrong choices or that everyone else has it together.

Having been in therapy myself, I've experienced firsthand its positive impact, helping me overcome my anxiety and equipping me with practical tools I still use today. I understand that repeatedly answering 'How does that make you feel?' can be frustrating. Drawing from my personal experience both as a therapy client and practitioner in a treatment center setting, I bring energy into my sessions and build momentum to help clients get unstuck and face their Anxiety & OCD with confidence.
As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Registered Art Therapist, my work centers queer and transgender preteens, teens, and adults, as well as individuals with current or past foster care involvement. My clients may be feeling overwhelmed, questioning their identity, or don't know where to start with therapy. I can support you by helping you notice patterns and build trust in your own process.
It's hard to find non-judgmental therapy, especially when dealing with subjects that evoke shame. That's why I collaborate to create a therapy that meets you as you are. I hold an affirming space for marginalized orientations, neurotypes, and relationship styles. We can work to navigate major issues like trauma, sexuality and life changes, or an ongoing condition like depression or anxiety. I am also passionate about supporting people through their gender journeys. My therapy is not just inclusive, but is LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity affirming. I also enjoy working with couples or relationship groups as they navigate challenges.
I am a Latina bilingual therapist with 15 years of professional mental health experience. I specialize in working with people suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, difficulties with acculturation, work stress and domestic violence. I work with children/adolescents, parents, couples and individuals. I Graduated from Pacific Oaks College with a Masters Degree in Marriage Family Therapy with specialization in Latino/a Family Studies. I am passionate about working with families.
Growing up in California, Colorado and Tennessee concocted a Midwestern warmth with an open-mindedness and appreciation of our differences. These experiences gave me a curiosity for how humans develop in their environments and with their unique histories, leading me to pursue psychology.
I studied Political Science at Vanderbilt University before a seven year tenure in the corporate world. I am grateful for this experience as it has added depth and perspective to my work with clients. In 2014 I began my counseling psychology degree at The Wright Institute in Berkeley and then completed my training in San Francisco. My training journey encompassed internships at community mental health clinics, elementary and high schools, group therapy practices, and social service sites where I received intensive supervision in a variety of modalities. I regularly attend trainings and consult with colleagues to hone my craft and provide the best possible care.
