Hello, and welcome. My name is Cynthia Oputa, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. I believe that effective treatment begins with truly listening, building trust, and partnering with you to support your mental and emotional well-being.
I have a strong clinical background in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across the lifespan. My training allows me to integrate both psychotherapy and medication management, and I take a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to care. I believe that combining therapeutic support with appropriate medication—when needed—offers a more holistic and sustainable path to healing.
My areas of interest include the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and stress-related concerns. I value creating a therapeutic relationship that feels authentic and empowering, where clients can feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and moving at a pace that feels manageable for them.
