Hi, I’m Jacklyn (they/she), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia, practicing since 2019. I specialize in working with queer and trans adolescents and adults navigating identity, life transitions, and trauma. I also love supporting neurodivergent clients who want therapy that meets them where they are — with flexibility, creativity, and respect for their lived experience.

My approach is somatic, relational, and affirming. I believe healing happens when we slow down, listen to the body, and build a sense of safety and connection — both within yourself and in the therapeutic relationship. Our work together helps you deepen self-awareness, strengthen your ability to stay present, and reconnect with your innate capacity for resilience.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults and teens facing substance use, mental health challenges, trauma, and family reunification. I bring both professional training and lived experience to the work. I’ve worked in residential treatment, community mental health, reentry programs, and private practice, serving people from many different backgrounds. Clients often say I’m easy to talk to, direct, and relatable. My goal is to create a safe, honest space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to change your life.

I work with adult individuals 18+. I have over 5 years experience in varied adult issues. This includes sex offender work and work with sexual assault survivors. I have worked with people who are dealing with personality issues, issues with depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, CPTSD and PTSD, as well as grief overall. Grief comes in many shapes and forms. I work with varied issues that are too many to name. I not only have clinical experience but real life experience to back it up.

Hi I am Dr. Liza. I grew up in rural Wyoming, lived in Utah for many years, and over the last three years moved to Georgia. I have been married for 26 years to my high school sweetheart and have three beautiful children.

I am so excited to get to know you. I look forward to using our therapeutic relationship built on trust, kindness, respect, and openness to help you build on the life you are seeking. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples in many varying situations which include mental health, addictions, behavioral, and relational concerns. This is my 18th year as a clinician and every relationship I build with clients is so important. I believe in you!!
