I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 21 years experience in an educational setting, and an additional eleven years in private practice and telehealth. I have a diverse portfolio of experiences. I believe that people have the natural ability to heal themselves with support. I earned my education from the University of Georgia, where I developed a strong foundation in social work practice, mental health treatment, and advocacy. He has specialization in children and adolescents, substance, couples and families, depression and anxiety, behavioral issues, addiction, trauma, outdoor recreation, and mental health counseling.

I have certifications in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parenting, Trauma Focused Therapy, Moral Reconation Therapy, Domestic Violence Assessment and Treatment, Emotionally Focused Therapy, addictions, and play therapy. I have worked with many behavioral problems in children and adolescents, as well as adults.

Experiences and educational background include: Bachelors degree in Zoology and Physiology, Masters in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology/Zoology, Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. National certification in Mental Health Counseling. I have extensive experience as a clinical supervisor and director of a mental health and substance abuse clinic.
