I am a Double Board-Certified nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatric mental health and family health. As a dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioner, I use an integrative and holistic approach to mental health. As a family nurse practitioner, I take into consideration how physical health impacts mood and relationships. I employ evidence-based medication management. Together, we can pinpoint what's causing you stress and navigate towards a balanced state. I employ brief supportive psychotherapy in every session to help patients manage their emotions, particularly those dealing with chronic illnesses or experiencing high levels of stress. By offering empathy and validation, I aim to strengthen coping mechanisms, boost resilience, and enhance overall mental well-being.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating-but you don't have to go through it alone. I'm here to walk alongside you as we explore your experiences, your story, and the ways they've shaped who you are. This process can be challenging at times, but I aim to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and safe enough to show up as your true self.
As an Asian American therapist and having grown up navigating two different cultures, I value the role that culture and identity play in shaping our experiences, I welcome clients from all backgrounds and aim to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and understood.
I believe that you are the expert of your own story. I'm here to help you in making sense of your experiences, deepening your self-understanding, and navigating challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Building a therapeuti relationship based on trust, respect, and authenticity is the core of my work-and I'm committed to showing up for you.
You dreamed of what becoming a mother would feel like — and maybe this isn’t it. You’re exhausted in ways you didn’t expect. You’re anxious, or numb, or you can’t stop the intrusive thoughts. You love your baby and yet you feel lost inside your own life. That disconnect is real, and it makes sense.
I specialize in supporting mothers through the emotional weight of the perinatal period; from pregnancy through the postpartum years. This includes birth trauma, postpartum anxiety and depression, intrusive thoughts, and the profound stress of a NICU stay or premature birth. If your baby’s early days were shaped by fear, separation, or medical uncertainty, you don’t have to carry that alone.
In our work together, you won’t be rushed, minimized, or handed a generic coping list. You’ll have space to say the things you haven’t been able to say out loud and to slowly feel like yourself again.
I offer virtual sessions, making it easy to get support from the comfort of your home — no babysitter required.

I follow the concept that therapy can heal emotional pain, improve relationships and increase self-understanding. Beginning therapy can often be intimidating, but can make a big difference in your ability to cope with challenges or make sense of what has happened so you can gather the skills to move forward. I am open to addressing unresolved or present barriers in your life, guide and help you make sense out of your own thoughts ideas and conflicts (situational).
I have been working in the field of social work/ counseling for three decades. I am approachable, non-judgmental and believe that everyone has something special about them. At times life's challenges cloud our ability to believe this and darken our outlook on life and ourselves. I enjoy helping my clients see their worth and live a happier life. I also grew up with a sister with significant developmental delays and autism. My childhood definitely cultivated my desire to work in this field, while also giving me first hand experience about the challenges of being a sibling to a brother or sister with special needs. I have worked with many children and teens who may be struggling with a similar family dynamic.
I know from personal experience how paralyzing it feels when life sends something you weren't prepared for. I specialize in working with young adults and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and big life changes. What I bring to every session is a direct, structured, and deeply human approach. I won't just listen—I'll actively help you build a new way of thinking.
