I take a thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized approach to psychiatric care. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with understanding each person’s unique experiences, symptoms, and treatment goals through a supportive and professional approach.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a background in both clinical practice and nursing education. This allows me to combine evidence-based psychiatric care with a practical understanding of the challenges many adults face in their day-to-day lives.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD through personalized psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
My goal is to provide a professional and supportive environment where individuals feel respected, understood, and actively involved in their treatment planning. Care is focused on supporting emotional wellness, symptom improvement, stability, and overall daily functioning.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding psychiatrists in Daytona Beach starts with knowing which type of care fits your needs. Psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners can diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medication, and manage medication over time. Therapists focus on talk therapy and skill-based support. Both can be helpful entry points depending on what you’re looking for. If you want support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, or medication management, review each psychiatrist’s specialties, clinical background, and approach before booking.
In a smaller market like Daytona Beach, nearby in-person psychiatry options may be more limited, so virtual appointments can make it easier to find a psychiatrist who fits your schedule and needs. Psychiatric care often follows a different cadence than therapy. Medication management visits are usually shorter and less frequent than therapy sessions, though some psychiatrists also offer therapy. Some people work with both a therapist and a prescriber. As you compare options, look at appointment availability, whether a free phone consultation is offered, and what each bio says about communication style and session structure.
Psychiatric care in Daytona Beach can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before care begins. Headway makes that process easier by helping you find psychiatrists who accept your plan, see estimated costs before booking, and choose from providers accepting new patients. Browse profiles, compare fit, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're already taking psychiatric medication and considering switching providers, talk to your current prescriber before changing or stopping any medication — most psychiatric medications shouldn't be stopped abruptly. Anyone experiencing thoughts of self-harm or in acute crisis should call 988 or go to the nearest emergency department rather than wait for an outpatient appointment.
