As a therapist working with both children and adults with 5 years experience, my clinical approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a strong belief in each person’s capacity for healing and growth. I strive to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences. Many individuals come to therapy carrying the weight of trauma, stress, or life transitions, and my role is to walk alongside them as they develop insight, resilience, and practical coping skills.
Feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, or disconnected from yourself? I'm Anastasia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping adults through their mental health journeys. I specialize in empowering individuals to overcome challenges such as depression, social anxiety, and the impact of trauma. Many of my clients also seek support for navigating relationship issues, coping with anger, processing grief and loss, and adapting to major life changes. My approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, focusing on your unique strengths. Using evidence-based methods like CBT and psychodynamic therapy, we will work together to build the skills you need to regain control and feel like yourself again. As a married and practicing Christian, I have a deep and personal understanding of the dynamics that shape both marital and family relationships. My faith and my own experiences allow me to approach these challenges with a unique blend of empathy and insight. I have the expertise to help you navigate marital and family challenges with your personal goals and spiritual values in mind. Please note: I do not provide letters for service animals or special accommodations.
I am a mental health specialist who has been in the private and non profit services for children and adolescents for over 25 years
I hold the belief that many of life’s challenges including mental health can become strengths and lead to deeper meaning and purpose.
As a therapist that is informed by relational therapy, I believe we don't only heal with therapeutic strategies and techniques; we also heal in relationships and communities with one another. This means that my number one priority as your therapist is to develop a trusting and meaningful connection with you where you feel safe, seen, and regarded. My communication style varies from person to person because there is not one single way to show up and be present as a therapist.
I view therapy as a collaborative process rooted in curiosity, compassion, and trust. Since entering the mental health field in 2021, I have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, relationship/familial challenges, and life transitions, and I presently work primarily with adolescents and adults. I earned my Bachelor's degree in psychology from University of California, Los Angeles in 2018, and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sonoma State University in 2023.
I’m Katrina Balian, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and able to build meaningful change in their lives.
What patterns keep repeating in your life, even when part of you wants something different?
I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and experiences that have been hard to put into words -- including adoption-related history, infertility, and the emotional complexity of becoming a parent. A lot of what brings people to therapy isn't a single event. It's the quiet accumulation of feeling disconnected, unseen, or like something important has never had space to be worked through. I trained at UCLA and bring both clinical depth and genuine warmth to this work.
Hi, I'm Teri! I love integrating my Christian faith and biblical principles with therapeutic interventions. I know for many of us, we have experienced trauma that has left us wounded, and I believe God desires healing and restoration. I help individuals juggling family, work, and relationships while quietly struggling inside. Struggling with past experiences, and sometimes unresolved pain, that is affecting how you feel and function. I want to help you break free from the weight of past trauma so it doesn’t define your present or your future and I’m here to walk with you as you pursue that.
