With over 12 years in the field of mental health and 6 years as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am dedicated to supporting individuals through lifeâs challenges with a focus on perinatal mental health. My experience spans a range of diverse populations, and I am passionate about guiding clients through the transformative periods of pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Hello and welcome! There is so much I want to share with you!
I acknowledge that finding a therapist can sometimes feel overwhelming because you want to find a good fit, someone who âgetsâ you, so I thank you for being here.
I identify as a Latinx, cis gender woman, feminist, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ ally, and spiritual. I am the granddaughter of immigrants from Mexico and the daughter of working class parents. Before coming to Marriage and Family Therapy, I earned a Masterâs degree in Womenâs Studies, and wrote my thesis on the jurisprudence of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I am aware of the dominant societal structures, narratives, expectations and pressures that can impact your story and how you live it. I look forward to being alongside you as you write a preferred story â one that is fully authored by you.
Prior to focusing on Marriage and Family Therapy, I worked for close to nineteen years in higher education leadership, advising and mentoring college students at a public university in Southern California. The relationships I fostered with students and the stories they shared with me inspired me to move into Marriage and Family Therapy. Like my work with the students, my therapy work is filled with compassion, empathy and understanding. And while there may sometimes be difficult conversations and tears in our work, I also invite in laughter, lightness and joy.
I am currently scheduling online and in-person appointments. I am available Mondays- Thursdays, and Saturdays.
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who provides compassionate, evidence-based care for adults. My approach is clinical, trauma-informed, and whole-person, meaning I look beyond symptoms alone and consider the many parts of life that shape mental health. I believe care should feel collaborative and supportive, not overwhelming. My goal is to help you feel understood while creating a treatment plan that fits your life, values, and goals. Whether you are seeking medication management, in-office IV or IM ketamine treatment, or support through a difficult season, I want you to feel safe, respected, and empowered.
Iâm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who helps adults navigate anxiety, stress, burnout, and life transitions. Clients often describe me as warm, calm, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, gain practical tools, and make meaningful changes. I also have specialized experience supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the challenges of parenting.
I love doing this work! I consider it a great privilege to walk alongside my clients, to partner with them, support them in their journey, and witness their growth.
Therapy with Lili is a space to slow down and finally exhale. Whether you're feeling consumed by overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or simply tired of carrying so much on your own, you don't need to have it all figured out before showing up. Together, we'll explore not only your thoughts, but also the ways your nervous system, experiences, and relationships have shaped how you move through the world. I approach your story with curiosity, care, and humility, using everyday language and relatable metaphors to help things feel clearer.
My specialties include anxiety, overthinking, grief & loss, guilt & shame, burnout, chronic pain, and relationship conflict.
