Hello there — I’m Nic 👋🏼
If you’re looking for a provider who doesn’t just listen but truly hears you, you’re in the right place. My goal is for you to leave each session with clarity, confidence, and those meaningful “ah‐ha” moments that move you forward.
With 20+ years in healthcare — including experience as a military corpsman, dental assistant, cardiac sonographer, and both a labor & delivery and behavioral health nurse — I bring a broad, compassionate, and grounded perspective to the work we’ll do together.
Let’s build a strong foundation for your well‐being, growth, and long‐term success.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor with over ten years of experience. I work with individuals facing all kinds of life challenges — anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, identity and self-worth struggles, relationship concerns, or just feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to go next. I also support individuals working through career-related stress, burnout, or big life transitions. Whether you're at a personal or professional crossroads, I’m here to help you sort through the noise and move forward with clarity.
I began my journey in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2015 and am currently pursuing my doctorate. I work with clients seeking support with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship and dating challenges, as well as those seeking a more fulfilling life.
I help you close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
I am a clinical social worker with specialties working with pregnant and parenting folks as well as young children and their families, with a special interest in trauma-informed, neurodiverse-affirming practice.
I understand welcoming a new baby to the family comes with a host of challenges and changes: from hormonal shifts and changes in our brains and bodies to changes in employment, lifestyle, relationships, and reflecting on our own experiences of being parented. I am highly experienced in working with pregnant, birthing, postpartum, and parenting folks with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders—or just struggling with the changes in demands, identity, and daily structure

Anxiety and depression can make everyday life feel exhausting — and finding the right support shouldn't add to that. I'm a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner practicing via telehealth across New York State, and I genuinely love what I do. My style is collaborative: I'm not here to hand you a prescription and send you on your way. I want to understand your full picture — your history, your goals, what you've tried before — and build a plan that actually fits your life. Care works best when it feels like a partnership, and that's exactly what I aim for. There's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to mental health, and I'll never treat it that way. If you're ready to take the next step — or even just curious about what that might look like — I'd love to connect.
Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and direct. I aim to create a space where you feel understood and supported, while also gently challenged to grow. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, not judgmental, not passive, and not surface-level.
This is my first career; it has always been my dream to help people. I never envisioned doing anything else in life. I’ve worked in a myriad of settings, ranging from satellite clinics based on early educational settings to social adult daycares (and everything else in between, including hospitals and intensive day treatment). I have completed training to be able to work in these settings, including courses on TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, and mental health first aid.
I like to help my clients recreate their narrative through expressive forms of art. In my practice I've only ever had clients who were visionaries. After all, aren't visionaries those who see things others don't see ... yet? Here's to system redesign!
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have focused the majority of my career on youth and young adults. I love working with young people as they navigate the challenges of personality development, family relationships, and exploring their place in the world beyond the family. My clinical judgment and practice strategies are guided by over twenty years of work with a wide variety of clients and circumstances. As a social worker in a lively high school and a parent of two young adults, I am very comfortable building rapport with the full gamut of adolescent personalities.
I am very excited to support clients in all developmental life stages as they work through clinical and non-clinical issues. These include depression, anxiety, trauma, divorce, grief and loss, life and career transitions, relationships, parenting, family dynamics, and aging.
