The past is a good place to visit but certainly not a place to stay
Welcome!
Therapy offers us the opportunity to make sense of our questions, deepen our values, and take authorship of our narratives. As a licensed clinical social worker, I hope to support you in that work.
I serve clients experiencing anxiety, life transitions, grief, and relationship concerns, and I am passionate about working with survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual violence. I carry a Master of Social Work from the University of New England, and I have certifications in Reproductive Health Leadership and Aging. This spring, I am pursuing certification in perinatal mental health.
My name is Nicole and I am a nurse practitioner with dual board certifications, one is in mental health and the other in family practice. I have worked in health care since 2017 and have worked in multiple specialties over the years from the Neuro/STROKE unit to the Pediatric Emergency Department. However, my passion landed with midlife woman. The menopause transition is a time a chaos leading to new anxiety and depression, changes mood, insomnia, cognitive changes and struggles with relationships (friends, family and intimate partners). My goal is to help you feel more like yourself during this transition and beyond.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when life already feels heavy. Many clients come in feeling emotionally exhausted, anxious, stuck in unhealthy patterns, struggling in relationships, or trying to manage everything on their own. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, process what’s going on, and feel genuinely supported without judgment.
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island, my work focuses on helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem struggles, parenting stress, relationship issues, substance use concerns, and major life transitions. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked across mental health, child welfare, foster care, schools, community-based programs, and the juvenile court system, supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments.
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to consider working with me. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been in the Mental Health and Substance Use field for 21 years. I have extensive experience working with a wide range of issues. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, substance use, Men's issues, and relationship stress. I hope that we can connect and work towards removing your barriers and achieving your goals.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating grief and bereavement, trauma, chronic health challenges or disabilities, anger management, and cultural or ethnic identity concerns. I understand that these experiences can feel overwhelming, isolating, and deeply personal. My goal is to provide a space where you feel seen, heard, and respected—without judgment. I bring a culturally responsive lens to therapy, recognizing how background, identity, and lived experience shape the way we cope and heal. Whether you're dealing with a recent loss, unresolved trauma, or ongoing life stressors, I’m here to help you move toward stability, clarity, and meaningful change.
Hi, I’m Chrissy and I’m a licensed professional counselor. If you’re struggling with OCD or anxiety, you’ve likely spent a lot of time trapped in the 'why'—trying to figure out why these thoughts are happening or why you feel this way. In our work together, we’re going to pivot. We’re going to focus on the how.
