I believe that connection with others is where healing can begin. With 10 years of experience working in mental health, I enjoy meeting my clients in whatever stage of life they are currently in. I have experience coming alongside clients from diverse backgrounds, and deeply value each person's individual experience. I believe strongly in the mind-body connection, which has led me to a deep appreciation for holistic care.
Available for sessions between hours of 9am to 5pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020 and obtained my license as an LPCC in 2023. I specialize in working with client's on anxiety, depression, life stressors, and past trauma. I enjoy working with teenagers and young adults. As a queer identifying person, I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I have specific experience writing letters of support for trans & nonbinary clients seeking Hormone Replacement Therapy and/or gender affirming surgery.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I work with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, OCD, and life transitions. I utilize play therapy with children, solution-focused techniques, supportive therapy, family systems, and other techniques that match the client I am working with.
One thing I want my clients to know is that I have a deep passion for helping individuals who feel like they’ve run out of options with psychiatric medications. If you’ve experienced past medication failures, please know you aren’t a lost cause. Together, we will partner to find a personalized, thoughtful combination of treatments that genuinely works for your unique life
I believe that your lived experiences are valid and essential for our work together. I specialize in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image issues, and also treat depression and anxiety. Foundational to my work are the principles of bodily autonomy, Health At Every Size (HAES®), harm reduction, social justice, and compassion.
I’m Elaina, a bicultural therapist whose own lived experiences shape how I sit with others. Many of my clients carry complex or childhood trauma layered with ADHD, autism, anxiety, or depression. They’re often the deep feelers and deep thinkers—the ones who’ve been told they’re “too much.”
I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship struggles, grief, affairs, identity shifts, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with military families, veterans, LGBTQ+ folks, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds who know that healing doesn’t look the same for everyone. My style is warm and human, with steady empathy and a willingness to challenge when it supports growth.
Working on yourself is the most important work you will ever do. I believe we are all in this life together, and we all need a little help sometimes. I want to be the person who helps you. We will discover, together, what goals are most important to you, we will then work on building the tools to help you change your life. It may not be easy at times, but that is why I'm here to guide you. I've got your back. We will do this by working on possible traumas, anxieties, or other road blocks that need to be examined and broken through. I'm here to help adults of all ages and gender, as well as couples to make the most of their life.
I work best with driven people experiencing a big change. Perhaps, despite your best efforts, things aren’t working out as you’d hoped. Or perhaps you’ve gotten all you wanted and it doesn’t satisfy. I work often with D1 athletes & pros (as well as their family members). I love supporting the romantic partners of people in the public eye. Though I often work with athletes I am not a Sports Psych. In fact, I don’t even follow sports! I’m here for the rest of your life and identity.
I’m a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in both private practice and community mental health settings. My background allows me to work with a wide range of individuals, from those navigating everyday stress and anxiety to those managing more complex mental health conditions.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degrees from Middle Tennessee State University, Maryville University, and Murray State University. My training across both primary care and psychiatry allows me to take a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care.
