For me, helping others has always been deeply personal. I believe every person deserves to feel heard, seen, and understood. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. I enjoy working with individuals navigating chronic pain or illness, adjustment challenges, and caregiver burnout. I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy and strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and respected as we work together toward meaningful and realistic goals.
I have been an LPC for the past nine years and a school counselor for fifteen. I have experience helping children and adolescents process big emotions as well as adults struggling with anxiety, self esteem and relationship issues.
Hi, I’m a licensed professional counselor and the founder of Transformed Therapy in Houston, TX. Since 2008, I’ve been walking alongside individuals, and families as they navigate anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, spiritual concerns, and major life transitions. While I work with men and women, as well as children and teens, a large part of my work is focused on helping men who are facing internal battles—feeling stuck, burned out, disconnected, or unsure of how to lead well in their families, careers, and personal lives.
Whether you're carrying stress silently, dealing with anger or shame, questioning your purpose, or struggling to be the individual you want to be, I provide a place where you can be honest, real, and heard. My approach is practical, faith-centered, and grounded in personal accountability, growth, and grace.
Before launching Transformed Therapy, I served as Director at Memorial Christian Counseling Center and CEO at Integrative Mental Health Solutions, leading crisis response teams across Houston. I also spent 11 years in full-time ministry as a youth and outreach minister, which deeply shaped my commitment to soul care and spiritual restoration.
I hold a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas and a BA in Philosophy from UT Arlington. When I’m not in session, I’m spending time outdoors with my wife and our five kids—camping, fishing, gardening, or simply enjoying God's creation.
If you're ready to step into change—whether it’s for your mental health, your marriage, your faith, or your identity—I’d be honored to walk with you.
Hi! I’m Ashley—former educator, school counselor, and third‐year doctoral student. I support humans ages 3+ navigating anxiety, perfectionism, ADHD, life transitions, burnout, and the pressure to hold everything together. My years in education uniquely equip me to help parents with practical strategies and to support educators and students at all levels working through burnout and imposter syndrome. My style brings together a person‐centered belief that you’re the expert on your own life, paired with research‐backed strategies, clear psychoeducation, and a light touch of humor to make the hard work feel more doable.
Life is a Journey. On this Journey we're faced with many twists & turns. My practice style is collaborative in nature. It focuses on joint commitment to change. Yet eclectic enough to incorporate different approaches that will help clients as they write and re-write their stories to transform their reality.
