My goal is to come alongside clients to reach personal goals, using warmth, understanding, and acceptance. I will work with you, with you in the driver’s seat, to set goals, explore and gain understanding of yourself, process your emotions in a safe space, reframe negative beliefs about yourself, and find solutions that work for you. Hello, and welcome. I’m Teresa Draper, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I earned my Master's from Capella University, and I specialize in helping couples strengthen their connection and build a healthy foundation for the future.
I have always been drawn to people’s stories and have a passion for helping people rewrite their narratives, discovering their strengths and creating resilience through healing. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from TCU and my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University. I enjoy reading memoirs, listening to any kind of music, cooking, yoga, and spending time with my family, especially outside.
Hi, I’m Charity, and I specialize in helping individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I use a solution-focused therapy approach that emphasizes your strengths and the progress you’re already making, even when it may feel hard to see. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based practices to help you stay grounded, build self-awareness, and manage stress in healthier, more intentional ways.
I believe that therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and tailored to you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just unsure of where to go next, we’ll work together to identify clear, achievable goals and take meaningful steps toward the life you want.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a proud parent of four amazing kids, ages 17, 10, 10, and 2. My youngest is on the autism spectrum, which has deepened my understanding of neurodiversity, parenting stress, and the importance of flexibility and compassion. When I’m not working or parenting, I love attending comic cons and trying new foods, whether that’s a new local spot or a dish I’ve never made before.
If you’re looking for a supportive, down-to-earth therapist who will help you focus on what’s possible (not just what’s painful), I’d be honored to work with you. At this time I do not provide couples counseling.
