Hi, I'm Adaobi — a Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in nursing and outpatient mental health care.

Dr. Adolf Malik, DNP, APRN, completed his master’s degree at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, followed by a post-master’s and a doctoral degree in nursing practice at Winston-Salem State University, NC. He also completed a post-doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health practice at Frontier Nursing University. He is board-certified in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry; a Family Nurse Practitioner, a DOT Medical Examiner, and a SAMHSA (X-Waiver) addiction provider.

I specialize in addiction, anxiety, grief, anger, depression, and coping issues. I utilize a variety of Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Narrative, and other therapy techniques.

I am Stanley Okeyemi, the founder of Brighter Light Behavioral Health Services. I have been working in the mental health industry for 16 years, but licensed as a PMHNP for four years, with a vast amount of experience and affiliations with over 40 hospitals/clinics combined across the USA

I've been a practitioner in the state of Texas for more than 30 years. I've worked in private practice, with CPS, provided services for drug and alcohol addiction, worked as a teacher and crisis counselor in public schools, and served as a Military Family Life Counselor. My graduate work was completed at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. I reside in a tiny town on the northern edge of the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
