I came to counseling after realizing at age 16 that I was meant to be counselor. Since then, working as a Sp. Ed. teacher and a regular education and Sp. Ed. counselor and in IOP therapy have added up while I persisted to make my dream come true to be an LPC. Yes, dreams do come true!

Personally, I offer experience and life perspective learned from nearly all the eras of our human experience and I hope to share it with my clients.

Therapies and techniques, and plans are customized just for you: Person-Centered, Cognitive - Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Self - Expression and Mindfulness through art and nature. All are holistically for your mind, body and spirit benefit.

I have been a SW for 29 years. I received my bachelors of social work from Southern University and A&M College and my masters of social work from Southern at New Orleans. As a SW, at DCFS/CW, I have served as in Investigations, Foster Care, Family Service, Adoption, and as a Child Welfare Supervisor, CW Trainer, and a CW Manager. PRN work included working in MH/SA, hospitals, hospice and school SW. I am a TBRI Pract. & adoption competent. I help people who seek help! I retired from DCFS on 01/21/2026.
