I have worked as a clinical therapist with youth, adolescents, and young adults, including those experiencing thoughts of self-harm and suicide. I have also worked extensively with neurodivergent youth and young adults, supporting a range of needs related to identity, emotional regulation, and social connection.
My office is located in the town of Globe-Miami, Arizona. I see patients in-person in my office. Individual therapy, couples, families. Children, teens, adults. Ages 6 to 96. I did not grow up in Globe-Miami. I’ve lived and worked here since 2021.
I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. I want to help you achieve whatever solutions and life changes you are looking for and enjoy the process along the way. It does not have to be all bad. There are reasons why you think a certain way, do not have control over emotions or repeat mistakes. Let us get to the bottom of those reasons.
I want you to find meaning/purpose in school, work, family and friendships. Give yourself the opportunity to feel confident living life; knowing you have the awareness and skills to adjust. As a parent, I want you to be free from the pain of worrying, knowing that someone is there to help your child work through their depression/anger and anxiety/stress.
During the 15+ years, I have helped children, adolescents and young adults find healing and understanding in distressed times; a good deal of my career has focused on the needs of this unique age group specifically specializing in mood disorders, depression, anxiety-related issues, and social skill difficulties.
You have been managing. Getting through the days, handling what comes at you, keeping it together. But somewhere along the way, that started to feel like the ceiling instead of the floor. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the kind of stress that stops feeling temporary. I also work with LGBTQIA+ and transgender individuals, and with people facing major life transitions who are ready for something to genuinely shift. My approach is practical and grounded. I am here to help you get unstuck and move forward with more confidence than you walked in with.

Hi there, I'm Kristin!
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. I'm proud of you for starting this process, as sometimes we need support to help with life's stressors. I specialize in working with people who are 10 and up who are navigating anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and trauma. I tailor my approach to each individual/family that I work with.
My focus
Have you been struggling with anxious thoughts and self-doubt? I work with people of all ages who are managing anxiety and self-esteem issues. Are you having overwhelming feelings of sadness or anger? I will meet you where you are at and help you build coping skills to manage all of your emotions.
My communication style
I value clear, open communication to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I practice empathy and active listening. If we're working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and reassuring.
My journey to mental healthcare
My counseling journey began with a deep desire to help others find strength through life's hardest challenges. During my graduate training, I had the opportunity to work at a state mental hospital. This experience and the many years of experience that followed showed me the powerful role therapy can play in recovery.
My goals for you
Therapy is a partnership, and together we will identify meaningful goals. We can change our goals at any time to ensure it's always valuable to you. Even when working through challenges, including trauma, I'm here to provide support and help you gain the tools you need to be a healthy and loving person.
I believe mental health treatment works best as a collaborative partnership. I take time to understand each client's unique experiences, symptoms, strengths, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. Treatment may include medication management, psychoeducation, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals for therapy or additional services when appropriate.
