I love working with adults dealing with various life challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, self esteem, substance use, grief, relationship issues. I’m committed to creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and come as you are without judgement. I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, substance use, addiction and recovery, and life transitions. I also work with individuals living with disabilities, chronic illness, dual diagnoses, and those adjusting to major life changes—whether that’s an empty nest, a new diagnosis, or the weight of uncertainty. I’ve supported individuals moving through cancer treatment and understand the emotional toll health challenges can bring.My role is to be a steady support system—someone who listens deeply, sits with you without judgment, and helps you build coping tools that make everyday life feel lighter and more manageable.

I am an independent therapist who works to get you you where you need and want to be in life. Most know me by Frank. Frank has been in the field of behavioral health for more than 25 years. Beginning with Independent Living Skills Training for Traumatic Brain Injured Individuals, Frank took care of individuals that had a goal of independence. Frank continued on in the field with respite care and eventually graduated from Grand Canyon University Cum Laude and Alphi Chi Honor society. Frank’s counseling journey began with Group Therapy in co-occuring addictions and proceeded to Crisis work including Title 36 and Crisis Mobile Team. Frank has experience with inpatient therapy as well. Following Clinic work and IOP, Frank, continued his work as a Clinical Supervisor.

I utilize a neurobiological approach that focuses on frontal lobe/executive functioning, nervous system dysregulation, and neurotransmitter systems to diagnose and treat various concerns - ADHD/executive dysfunction, OCD, trauma/C-PTSD, high-masking autism, personality profiles, and cases where standard medication treatments have failed. With a nursing career spanning since 2008, I have dedicated over 15 years to understanding the complexities of patient care. After earning my Master’s Degree in 2021, I transitioned into advanced psychiatric practice in 2022. Having served in both fast-paced inpatient units and collaborative outpatient clinics, I offer a well-rounded perspective on mental health. My background allows me to blend clinical expertise with a deeply rooted compassion for the human experience.

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. My undergraduate B.A and graduate M.A. training took place at Wheaton College. Following graduate school in the midwest, I moved to the west coast, where I attended the California School of Professional Psychology. Here, I earned a M.A in applied psychology and Psy. D. in clinical psychology with a dual emphasis in forensics and family therapy. My research consisted of working with high risk sexual offenders. Following my time on the west coast, I worked as a Staff Psychologist and Assistant Professor at a local university. In my free time, I train in combat arts and play guitar (try at least ;-).
