I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 15 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence based therapy. As a Cuban immigrant, I understand the unique challenges faced by ethnically and racially diverse clients. I have experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and abuse, anxiety, depression, stress, and co-occurring disorders. I have also worked with clients dealing with single parenthood, partner relational conflict, childhood and generational trauma, grief, and loss issues. I specialize in child-parent/family issues and domestic abuse (intimate partner violence).

I bring eight years of prior experience as an adult and pediatric emergency room nurse. My background in acute care has given me a strong foundation in crisis intervention, compassionate listening, and evidence-based clinical judgment.

I was born in Los Angeles, spent 15 years living in Hawaii, and now reside in Miami, Florida. My diverse life experiences — including traveling to 23 countries — have shaped my cultural awareness and deep respect for the unique perspectives of every individual I serve.
