Hello! My name is Samantha Vamosy and I am so happy you are interested in working together. I know starting a therapy process whether you have before or this is your first time can be scary and uncomfortable. I hope we can work through this time together making this journey as helpful and special as possible. My passions have always aligned with helping others and listening in a compassionate, non-judgmental, and curious way. I find real change occurs when a person can fully explore their life in a holistic way. Whether it is current mental health symptoms or past traumas holistic healing is possible for everyone. I received my Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Fairfield University and achieved my LPC after completing 3000 hours in an outpatient clinic for substance abuse.
Professional background: I am a psychiatric nurse with over a decade of experience in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked with all ages. Educational background: I graduated from a hospital based nursing program and went on to get a master's in psychiatric nursing from the University of St. Joseph's. I have worked with clients with diagnoses ranging from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, anxiety, autism, adhd, and substance use disorders.
You deserve to feel heard, supported, and understood—and if you’re here, you’ve already taken a meaningful step toward change.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree from the University of Connecticut, specializing in mental health and substance use. I’ve worked with teens, adults, and families across a range of settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, home-based care, and virtual therapy.
I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, identity exploration, relationship stress, and major life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they can’t seem to shift, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on their own.
My approach is collaborative, direct when helpful, and grounded in compassion. I use evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care, but I tailor therapy to what actually fits your life—not just a model. We focus on what’s showing up for you right now, while also working toward longer-term stability and change.
Therapy with me is not about judgment or perfection. It’s a space to slow things down, understand what’s driving stress or emotional pain, and build practical tools that help you feel more steady and in control of your day-to-day life.
I know reaching that first client is a big deal, so here’s a tightened, more conversational version that keeps the same order and three-paragraph structure:
I’m a licensed social worker, and I believe therapy should feel compassionate, affirming, and truly connecting. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, stress, substance use, identity concerns, chronic illness, job loss, and life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting women and also welcome clients of all genders. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and supported as we work toward healing, clarity, and lasting change, with space for Christian faith if that’s important to you.

I bring straightforward honesty, genuine warmth, and a little humor to our virtual sessions. Together, we will roll up our sleeves to tackle life's challenges with solid support and absolutely zero judgment so you can uncover the resilience you already possess.
I'm Magdalena, and I've been doing this work for 14 years — across schools, community
mental health, and private practice. What that span of experience gave me is range: I've
worked with people in serious crisis and people who are simply stuck, and I've learned
that the gap between those two things is smaller than most people think. I trained at
UNC Wilmington and have spent my career working with adults across the full
complexity of what life throws at people — anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, parenting,
major life transitions, and identity. I offer therapy in both English and Polish, and I'm
LGBTQ+-affirming. I accept insurance and offer a sliding scale. My goal isn't to be your
therapist forever — it's to give you what you need so you can get on with your life.

Hello!
Therapy should feel like somewhere you can exhale, be yourself, and feel heard. My goal is to create a flexible and grounded space that balances support, curiosity, and practical tools.
I regularly work with individuals facing a variety of life's diverse challenges including anxiety/ panic, family-of-origin concerns, depression, maternal mental health, transition to parenthood, trauma, grief/ loss, sexual issues, and career related concerns. I also have a specialization in sex and relationship therapy.
My clients are often seeking a combination of clarity, coping skills, and in general -- more ease and happiness in their daily life. I also have a unique specialization in "relationship therapy for one" where we unpack what might be keeping you stuck or unhappy when it comes to your overall relationship health/ satisfaction.
I have been a licensed therapist for over a decade and received my training at state of the art educational institutes including Syracuse University and other hospital and outpatient centers across NY and Manhattan. I have also sought out ongoing participation in professional clinical consultation groups with some of the most influential therapists and thought leaders of our time. These varied and diverse professional training experiences enable me to provide the best possible care to each client I serve. In addition, I also provide training and mentorship for new therapists looking to specialize in sex and relationship health.
Through the world of therapy, I hope to bring more education and support to pregnant and postpartum people. My style of counseling is positive, person-centered and solution-focused. I believe that the most important part of perinatal mental health is prevention; entering into therapy prior to or during pregnancy is the most effective way to process birth and postpartum. I will provide a safe and soothing environment for all of my clients to work through their identified needs. I also have training in working with college-aged students and specifically athletes. I am licensed in both MA and CT.
I believe it is important to establish therapy for moms to be and received continued support through pregnancy and postpartum. I also work with moms who experienced miscarriages and infant loss. I am also able to support college students through early adulthood transitions, sports and relationships.
If you are in the beginning stages of planning for a family or you are postpartum, I am here to support you through these transitions. I also have extensive work with family systems so even older children and parenting support. Currently I am working on an athletic college campus so I am opening private practice to college students as well.
