My name is Sodna Paul, and I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I truly believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients in their healing and growth. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from St Thomas University. Before becoming a PMHNP, I worked as a registered nurse inpatient psychiatry, Correctional facility and medical-surgical units, which gave me a strong foundation in holistic patient care. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults across a wide range of mental health concerns, with Depression and anxiety, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, Trauma and PTSD, Substance use disorders, Sleep issues and Lifestyle related mental health concerns. I use a combination of evidence-based medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle coaching to help clients reach their goals.
Though Kelsey is a psychiatric nurse practitioner, her initial mental health training was as a psychologist. She completed her PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of North Texas in 2009 with specialties in neuropsychology, pediatrics and eating disorders. She has extensive experience working at all levels of care across the lifespan and developing treatment programs. After a decade of experience as a psychologist, Kelsey was inspired to go back to school during the COVID-19 pandemic seeing the need for integrated medical and psychiatric care. She completed her accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 2022 and followed by her Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University in 2024.
Welcome! If insight alone could cure anxiety or depression, you would already be healed. Analyzing the problem hasn't stopped the loops of "what if" thinking or the exhaustion of holding it all together. I offer specialized, individualized, and deeply effective telehealth treatment for anxiety, depression, and related life challenges. In our relaxed, warm, and casual sessions, you will learn practical "anxiety hacks" for immediate relief while we work together on long-term behavioral change. Backed by over two decades of clinical experience, my goal is for you to leave every session feeling heard, supported, and genuinely closer to reaching your goals.
