Evansville residents managing bipolar disorder can access specialized care through Headway's network, featuring providers trained in psychoeducation, routine stabilization, and interpersonal social rhythm therapy. Many patients save significantly on sessions through insurance coverage, with appointments available in-person or virtually.
I love helping others overcome mental obstacles to allow them to reach their goals. I strongly value the therapeutic relationship and use it as a catalyst for positive change. I have over 8 years of experience in private practice and have helped people through a wide range of issues. I have unique experience in sport and performance psychology. I have two post undergraduate degrees in mental health counseling from Indiana University and an undergraduate degree in psychology from Butler University. I bring my knowledge, experience, and value system to each of my clients.
With over 20 years in classrooms, courtrooms, federal detention centers, and counseling spaces, my expertise and experience is vast but humble. My passion and professional expertise is rooted in transgenerational and complex trauma, chronic self-harm (addictions, perfectionism, self-sabotage, emotional outbursts, self-criticism, etc.), and relationship conflicts (couples, parent-child). I've worked with kids as young as 2 and with adults as old as 97.
And personally, I've experienced a collective 15 years in therapy spaces sitting in the client's chair seeking to understand my own family's institutionalized mental illnesses, crippling addictions, homelessness, self-harm strategies, and chronic dysfunction.
I don't see myself as a healer. I'm a guide on your journey to learn about yourself. And befriend yourself. Instead of trying to change you or diagnose you, I simply offer my personal and professional guideance on your journey to being the person you want to be - the person you've always been.
Hi there, my name’s Ephraim and I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses.
Whether it's individuals or couples, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. Looking forward to meeting with you soon!
Hello and welcome to my page! As a dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I am passionate about guiding individuals through the complexities of life’s challenges. I believe that mental health is a cornerstone of overall well-being, and my mission is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can authentically explore their feelings and work towards becoming their best selves—no matter their life stage.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with ten years of therapy experience. I have worked in a number of different settings, including psychiatric inpatient, private practice, primary care, and community mental health. This diversity of training has given me great breadth of experience and I've been able to help clients with many life concerns and clinical problems. I am passionate about working with individuals with borderline personality disorder, eating disorders and body image concerns, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
On a personal note, I'm originally from Australia, and lived in San Diego before moving to Indianapolis. I like science fiction, bouldering, needlepoint, and probably spend an amount of time playing video games that could be addressed in therapy!
I am an LCSW with a Master's of Social Work degree and have been in field over 12 years.
