Hi, I’m Michael Aluvieve, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) providing telehealth therapy for adults across Ohio. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, and also work with stress, PTSD, and life transitions.

My approach is both professional and personal. After being accepted to Berklee College of Music, my own experience with mental health got in the way. Now I'm passionate about helping others that struggle with their mental health. Mental health issues aren't just a clinical notion to me, I am familiar with how burdensome and painful they can be.

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to managing everything on your own. I work with adults, including many caregivers who are balancing a lot and may feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure how to prioritize themselves while caring for others.

I’ve supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and parenting stress.

I also bring extensive experience working with children and adolescents (ages 4–21), which allows me to support parents with a deeper understanding of child and adolescent development. I am a trans, non-binary, AuDHD, polyamorous, queer, kinky, and leftist therapist. Meeting clients' cultural and intellectual needs in session is extremely important to me, so the practice of cultural and intellectual humility helps me bridge the divide between myself and my clients. Clients are the experts of their own lives, I am simply here to help.

Hello, I am a dual certified Nurse Practitioner with board certifications in Women's health and Psychiatric Mental health. I work with women, moms, and adults who are dealing with anxiety, ADHD, depression, and the emotional ups and downs that come with stress, life changes, or motherhood. Many of my clients feel misunderstood, easily triggered, or frustrated with how their emotions are affecting their relationships, focus, or daily life.

In my work with my clients, I strive to practice radical genuineness, meaning I work hard to connect with you as a real live person. To do this, I share pieces of my life such as my interest in drawing or Dungeons and Dragons, parts of my identity including being a transgender person with ADHD, and how I feel in the room, as in if I feel sad or excited about something we talk about. I have found that being present and transparent with my clients has helped me foster trust and build relationships which have led to feelings of belonging and experiencing meaningful change.

Integrating the identification of mental health disorders and physical disorders such as low testosterone, hormone imbalance, thyroid disorders and vitamin deficiency are key steps to improve overall health.
