Over nine years ago my life changed. I lost a son to suicide due to unaddressed mental health needs. A system that was overwhelmed failed him. I returned to school to help close that gap and want to work with others to start their journey towards mental wellness. As someone who has experienced depression and anxiety, I understand the challenges faced.
I help clients understand how their experiences shape their present struggles and help build internal safety, self-understanding, and resilience.
My work is especially suited for individuals who have experienced trauma and feel its effects in their daily lives. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or others, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating. Trauma can leave people feeling alone, misunderstood, invisible, or unsafe—even within their own bodies and minds.
I often work with clients navigating complex trauma, trauma-related addiction, abuse specializing in DV/IPV, neurodivergent and identity struggles, anxiety, and depression. Many are individuals who have spent years surviving difficult experiences and are now seeking a deeper level of healing, understanding, and stability.
Clients who tend to benefit most from working with me are those who want more than symptom relief—they want to understand themselves more deeply and build a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and connected. Their goals often include feeling safer in their own bodies, reducing emotional reactivity and overwhelm, improving relationships, and developing a stronger sense of identity and self-trust.
