I have been licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 2004 and have held a supervision designation since 2015. I have also held a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a supervision/training designation license since 2018. I have maintained a private counseling practice in Chillicothe since 2000 and I continue to work with individuals and families in that capacity. I have dedicated my career to helping others and to working with the community to ensure the well-being of families and children.
My communication style
My communication tone or approach tends to be direct but laid back. We are in session to work together not have me tell you what to do or where you need to go
Hello, I’m Chido and thank you for your commitment in engaging in treatment. I understand that seeking support can be a meaningful and sometimes difficult step, and I approach each client with compassion and genuine care. I have experience in working with adults, children, and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, grief, family and relationship issues.
My name is Queen Watson (yes that's my real name) and I’m a Cincinnati, OH native. I attended The Ohio State University for my bachelor's degree in psychology and obtained my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. As a Black therapist, I take pride in providing a safe space for individuals to address the impact of a system that villainizes those experiencing side effects of the human condition and directly challenge the stereotype of what therapists should look or act like. My ideal clients are adults experiencing or seeking: identify affirming care (i.e., LGBT+, BIPOC), ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, seeking stronger intra- and interpersonal relationships, intense anger, and mood disorders.
I think it takes guts to be in psychotherapy. Life is hard and beautiful, & it is always possible to feel better and live a fuller life, I work collaboratively with clients to cope with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, divorce and ADHD. I received my MSW in social work from Boston College and trained on child and family teams in the Boston area.
Are you someone who is feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about navigating life’s challenges? Perhaps you are experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, questions about gender/identity, or lingering effects of past experiences. Or maybe you feel disconnected from yourself or others, struggle with self-doubt, or find it difficult to manage your emotions in a healthy, balanced way. As a licensed Psychologist at Psychworks Clinic, I provide therapy under the supervision of Dr. Ritchie Hall, a licensed Clinical Psychologist, using interventions grounded in research and best practices.

Headway helps you stay on track with expert-guided support for ADHD — from finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right ADHD therapist in Cleveland starts with understanding the type of care that fits your needs. Some people benefit from talk therapy approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which can help with focus, time management, and emotional regulation. Others may need a psychiatrist who can evaluate whether medication management is appropriate. Many people with ADHD work with both a therapist and a psychiatrist over time.
With providers practicing across Greater Cleveland — from downtown to neighborhoods like Shaker Heights, Parma, and Lakewood — narrowing your options means looking for someone with specific ADHD experience, not just a general mental health background. Reading a provider's bio can help you understand their approach and whether they work with adults, teens, or both. A free phone consultation is another way to see if a provider is the right match before committing to a session.
ADHD therapy in Cleveland can be expensive without insurance, but affordable options exist when you use in-network coverage. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs upfront, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find an ADHD specialist who is both the right clinical fit and covered by your plan.
